The Microsoft update issue is truly a cause for concern for dual boot systems. Although some users were able to temporarily circumvent the issue, the lack of response from Microsoft is not encouraging.

From a business standpoint, Microsoft spend millions making windows work. Why on earth would they fork out money to making sure you can still boot Linux? I have 3 PC's running windows, a Macbook Pro on OSX and a Steamdeck running Linux. I don't require them to make whatever work, if you want your devices to do things they weren't intended to do, figure it out. That's what being tech savvy is all about. There will be roadblocks.
