  1. This is consistent with all the other requirements for Windows 11 that are in place to provide increased security. Increased security is a selling point for large companies, that is, the enterprise, which are the most profitable customers for Microsoft.

  2. All I can see is some major screw-ups happening and people losing their data. I downloaded 23H2 ISO and will use Rufus to create a bootable USB.

  3. Microsoft wants in on the bitlocker monies, under the guise of a friend. I can see a lot of corporate accounts inadvertently getting locked out, then paying Microsoft for decryption service.
