Windows 11 is unstable and all updates are BETA versions, BETA versions can corrupt system files, and sometimes the audio drivers dont work, I have used windows 11 for a while with fps losses and crashes and then I returned to windows 10, and in my opinion is the best windows ever released!
I think the games must just be better optimized with windows 10. Perhaps more likely, some mostly opaque windows 11 "feature" probably spyware is drawing 2 to 5% of the measured performance. It's a pretty new OS so maybe some basic feature is not as optimized as the latest Windows 10 version. I'd be interesting to see if it improves over a few years. I still run Windows 10 which is reminiscent of vista and 7… Still running Android 9 on my 3rd battery so much for nonremovable… The improvements in the most modern stuff is essentially boring loosing features on mobile. Bought my nephew a computer with max cost of like $700. It was actually 768 but I was unimpressed with the best I could do at that price. Very frustrating circumstance. Couldn't even pull off it's equivalent or better at Best buy for under 1300 especially building from scratch… His computer is good enough for the games he plays at high frame rates with low triangle rates but compared to my $3500 5 year old gaming computer at only 60hrz with 4k it's not even close in absolute performance. My GPU alone was more than his whole system at the time so some generic 1450 compared to a 1080 meh. I should upgrade my board and get a 4090 but I'm not much of a first person shooter and my vision is meh like 100 fps max with imperceivable holes so I don't even know of a compelling enough game to upgrade for when my computer is still better than at least 80% of modern commercial computers.
