After all the low effort games from Obsidian in recent years, i won't hold my breath for Avowed in any shape or form! The Outer Worlds was a disaster. That game is their current low standard for quality. Which is a thousand times worse than their games from the past, like "Neverwinter Knights 2, Kotor 2, Alpha Protocol, New Vegasm, South Park Stick of Truth". And Avowed will be Outer Wolds without guns. Mark my words!

30FPS nor matter if "stable" or not, will always be a no-go, especially for action games! 30FPS is always unstable to look at. It will always hamper gameplay itself. Because FPS is part of gameplay, period! Stop IGNoring facts!

A few years back i was thinking about an SeriesS, mainly because backwardscompatibility. But then they said no CD-Drive. It simply makes this product completely useless!
The used Market is still valid and stays relevant as long as you can use physical media! If people would be smart, they would not buy digital only consoles! Its bad for everyone, but so is the nature of democracy. The majority of dumb people ruin it for everyone else!

I don't believe STALKER 2 will be the game
peopleFans actually wanted nor what was advertised. It will have BS game elements no one likes and it the game itself will be broken/bug ridden for a very long time. Mod Support severely hampered. And simply said, not a good game to begin with.Im a STALKER fan don't get me wrong, when its Fanmodded at least with stuff like Anomaly, Misery or Radiophobia etc. But from everything i have seen and read so far about ST2 over the past few years, i simply cannot believe it will be good. Too much speaks against it.
Performance issues will be the least of our problems with this game, its already flawed on paper and the core game design, mark my words!
Giving always-online games offline end of life versions should be the industry standard. That way they can be sold forever and purchased forever. I hope Nintendo sets a new precedent.

The digital version of the Series X is the clearest sign that Microsoft is failing against its competitors. There’s no distinct vision; they’re simply following what the competition is doing, lacking unique selling points. Expand your backward compatibility, for goodness’ sake, make it a hybrid console with access to Windows or something else. You have so many opportunities, but you waste them every time. The Xbox 360 was the peak—after that, it’s been downhill.

When I was a child, there was a launcher for many Mario romhacks, there was this Halo mod I used to play. There was also this other mod that played the Hollow Bastion theme from Kingdom Hearts, this was like 10yrs ago. I wonder if I could find that again?
Back in the day I used Refined boot manager, I think that's what it was called? Oh yea, it was on a macbook, I had booted Linux, Mac OS, and Windows, and Android x86.
Just so everyone is clear, Gigantic: Rampage Edition has a 63% on Opencritic and 50% "Mixed" on Steam Store. That's mediocre, not very good as you said in the video. The Callisto Protocol has a 42% on Opencritic, 65% Mixed on Steam Store. Also Mediocre bordering on bad, definitely not "extremely high" like you say in the video.
1:25 I'm very skeptical of this, and everyone has a right to. Why? Because my theory is that Nintendo is using this as a distraction away from the stopkillinggames movement. If Nintendo really cared about it, then they would've released Dragalia Lost as a paid offline game. Does anyone remember that game? Nope, didn't think so, because Nintendo doesn't want you to know it existed. It was a great game imo.
In certain games 60fps are great to have, while in others it is a nice bonus.
I like smooth animations, and I prefer a smooth gameplay experience over pretty graphics, and it is annoying how most performance options in current Gen consoles don't have a setting for 1080p 120fps, and instead focus on 4k 30fps.

30 vs 60? Definitely choose 60 but if they can't change anything or too lazy to do optimization, LSFG exist for this. Don't expect magic but it does do something to the framerate as long as your system can handle it.

And "Rocky" is definitely the better love story of the two. There are very few love stories about two people with no money between them. It's sbout two ordinary people seeing something extraordinary in each other.

practically forcing users to spend money to continue playing the game does not make Nintendo the good guys…. they could just update the game to not require an online connection anymore, or have a free migration process
