  1. The 'mother' knew what was happening and was allowing it. No real mother would allow the real father, let alone a step-father, sleep in their teenage daughter's bed. Unfortunately, this is far too common. My mother's side of the family is full of despicable women, allowing their men to sa their kids to keep them happy and less likely to leave them. I really hope she gets the book thrown at her and the judge throws out any plea she tries to take, there's enough evidence that they have they don't need anything from her.

  2. I have a daughter M's age… I'd be in the grave with her or in prison for murder. No question. It never would have happened in the first place. This woman set her child up. She is no mother

  3. Yeah he says he loved her like she was his own… yuck 🤮 maybe he thought he and Maddie were in love ❤in his twisted sick
mind? I do think he targeted Jen being a single mom
overwhelmed by life he was her knight in shining armor so to say? So
heartbreaking that sweet Maddie was a sheep
to the slaughter totally unprotected neglected by this so called mom… she was so medicated vaped and boozed out and always sleeping … horrible mom ugh…

  4. At the start of this, the body language of the other police officer. He is doing all in his power to remember he is a police officer and not dive over that table and rip Sterns face off.

  6. As a child SA survivor this case infuriates me. Jen never even thought of her daughter, just like my mother was. When I was 10, I told my mother I was being SAed and she didn’t believe me. She made me apologize and it went in for 7 more years. I have a feeling the same thing happened with Maddie. SS was probably giving JS pills and sedatives so he can have her way with Maddie. This is so upsetting. Justice for Maddie.🤍

  7. She looks so much older than 7 😢 This poor sweet girl went through so much and her mother failed to protect her. I hope she knows that she's just as guilty for not protecting Madeline. I wish both of them pain and suffering for the rest of their miserable lives.

  8. His parents said that Maddie called and asked him to come for her birthday. They also said that she would sit down next to him and put her arms around him and tell him she loved him. I think she was likely groomed into thinking they were in a relationship and in love.

  9. I'm going one step further, regarding the guilt of Jenn Soto: She knew that Madeline had not gotten her period for 2 months, right? If her "biggest fear" was losing Stephan to Madeline (or the circumstances) and it turns out, that madeline was pregnant at the time of her death, I would think that it is absolutely possible for Jenn to be involved in her daughters murder.
She said herself, that it was walmost impossible for Stephan to get "the body" out of the house, without being seen, because of her housemates going in and out of the house that morning. So maybe she helped him timing it, or even carrying her outside (which would explain why the cadaver dog alerted to her car). And she had quite the imagination of how exactly her daughter could have been murdered (being drugged and strangeled).

  10. JS has so many lies dribbling out her mouth. The woman is GUILTY .
Firstly what sort of a parent allows even entertains the thought of a grown man sharing a bed with their daughter? She knows whats going on.
Secondly what parent is able to sit there after finding out their child is deceased from the hand of her friend can sit there calmly & not want to end that persons life.I know thats all i wouldcwant to do.Shes guilty of trafficking Maddie. She feels sorry for the murderer allegedly.
I hope he gets passed around alot in prison for a long long time or gets the D.P ..i am so angry watching her.Just charge her already. Make a law Maddies Law she deserves to be remembered . I DOUBT MADDIE CAN EVER REMEMBER HER LAST DAY OF HAPPINESS WITHOUT FEELING LIKE SHE WILL BE TOY. HER MOTHER FAMILY LET HER DOWN INCLUDING HER GRANDPARENTS

  11. As someone who works with survivors of SA for 2 decades I know one thing for sure: lots of abuse can only happen, because the mothers allow it to happen. They don't only know what is going on, they send their daughters to do the acts they don't feel like doing. Jenn Soto talked in her interview about Stephan being into certain practices she didn't like, and that that was one of the reasons their relationship crumbled. But when her daughter SHOWED her that she was bleeding from there, she created an obstipation excuse, and just got her more medication.
Jenn Soto shows and expresses very clearly, that she doesn't see the activities between her 9, 10, 11, then 12 year old daughter and her grown-up boyfriend as "something bad" (besides of it being a risk for her relationship). That reminds me of a (now deceased) friend, whose mother caught her husband r-ing their at that point 10 year old daughter, slammed the door shut, and later hissed at her daughter "You don't want me to be happy! Now you're even taking my husband away from me!".
Cases like this happen way more, than many people are aware of. And to (almost) every long-term abuse situation belongs a mother, who knows about it or at least suspects something.
And I think that it's really time to get women out of the victim bubble, and hold them fully accountable as the second perpetrator in a situation like this.
