Fern, my white Boxer dog, is an accredited service dog under the 1992 DD act. She holds special access rights to be allowed to enter places most dogs cannot. This includes National Parks such as Chiltern Mt Piolet NP where Reedy Creek is located. Unless your dog is an accredited service animal they are not allowed to enter NP.
Check your local regulations, as each state and territory is different, before you travel into or though NP with your dog. Here is the Parks Victoria website for those of you wishing to read up on Victoria’s laws ๐

What sluice box do you think is the best for your area?
The slobber bags are super cool! I havenโt even done my first stratify, and thereโs more gold Iโve seen on the edges than Iโve ever gotten in a single bucket of material at home ๐ I see some garnet and some little pink looking gems too, excited to pick through it!

Great video as always. I've just watched OzGeology and he's mentioned some limitations you may want to be aware of! Victorian laws are weird especially when it relates to gold fossicking.
Um, correct me if I'm wrong, but to my understanding you can't sluice in an NP. I was told also by parks you can pass in an area of NP with a dog, if it's on a lead and you clean up their do do's. If I'm corrected, I've got some good ground to cover. Like you Chris, my dog is my rock, my companion, and my love. Love ya work mate you keep me inspired to go the extra mile.
