SUSE has developed a methodology and tooling to enable operational technology (OT) to be deployed and managed from day 0 through day 2 in a manner that reflects and respects how enterprises currently handle IT in a data center. At a high level, these tools include remote provisioning, remote management, customization and automation. This methodology and the solutions derived from it have been developed on the strong foundation of SUSE Linux and the Rancher distributions of Kubernetes. Add in the Elemental Teal toolkit and Fleet Management and this system can enable deployment automation of these OT systems at scale while simultaneously providing the high level of interaction expected for data center systems.
