In today’s episode we are taking you on a design journey. A journey of DIY, high tech smart home products and a bit of design disaster. One of the most challenging and oft-forgotten rooms to makeover is our Laundry Rooms. We have to somehow take what is usually the smallest space in the house and design around what are usually the largest appliances in the house and somehow make it look beautiful. Today we are taking you on the DIY and design journey as we makeover this space to accommodate a very high tech set of laundry machines, and we are DIY’ing our own Central HVAC system? Thankfully we still manage to work in some color and some creativity with our watercolor stripe peel and stick wallpaper, and a gorgeous apron sink and vintage rug. We also show you how to utilize pre-fabricated cabinets to look custom and high end. Get ready for a big creative journey with an ultimate before and after of interior design goodness.

Watching your guys videos inspires me to do so many projects in my home the issue is I jump around projects so much so my home is always under construction 😂😂😂😂

It is 20 million times better than ours. Our floors are concave and our washing machine bounces around, lol.
Kate, you need a step to stand to fold laundry on the counter, one that is strong. Then you can also reach up into the cupboard above.

My mother was 5’3” & thought that that was too short. One of my close friends is only 4’10”. Now that’s short! Nothing is designed for adults who are that short. I feel for Kate❤️🇨🇦

You can connect the dryer vent to the bathroom vent since the bathroom is right behind the washer and dryer.
lol. “In all seriousness” Joey can take on the task of emptying the dryer and folding laundry. The room is made more you, Joey. I believe in you! You’ve got this!
"counter hight machines fit my shoes in them" lol counter height, front loading washing machines are the NORM in Europe and in a lot of Asia they are even smaller! American expectations of "normal" are crazy….

Omg this pre-fab cabinet stacking thing is GENIUS!!! Can you guys share some tips and tricks on how to re-purpose cabinets that come with a new home into more custom looking ones?? We are moving into our new home soon and the cabinet situation is just weird but the quality of the cabinets is quite good so don’t want to just throw them away!!
