I only clicked because I thought you can add cards like this for m.2 ssds in all bays.
This class of home server is neither here nor there, fiddly and expensive at the same time.
Stick to Qnap/Synology if you want something small and easy to use, roll your own if you want 8 to 12 bays, get a rack mount server and disk shelf if you need more than 12 bays.
if only it was cheaper. would've been on it. don't see no sale either in UK. I'd rather build one at this price.

Once you go 10 Gbit, you never go back. I have used 10 Gbit for over a year now. Even 2.5 Gbit is like ewww right now. 😉

I'm tempted by the Black Friday deal, but Zima cube is more than I need. Looking to replace an old DS-1815+ with a 4-bay from Terramaster, Ugreen, or Aoostar with Unraid. I'll probably end up getting the DS-923+ for $500. I love Unraid but I'll stick with DSM 😅
