So guys i still confuse to choose in 2024, asus vivobook s14 ryzen 5 7535hs vs ideapad slim 5 ultra core 5 125h for office and some medium games, please give me comment 😢
"Avoid 8gb ram" brother too bad I'm not doing anything demanding
I have some computer accessory products that I would like to send to you for testing. How can I contact you?
the collab we never knew we needed
If you are in Canada and need a laptop for cheap, hit up Canada computers, they have refurbs under the desk for as low as $300 bucks. Most of what these guys mentioned are wayyyy overkill for what you'll need in post secondary. (I did it with no laptop)
I'm impressed the way the sponsor ad was done lol instant like and sub XD
How cheap do people in the US get the Zenbook 14 OLED. I'm in Finland and it costs 1299 bucks💀💀 I thought it would be about 999 bucks.
is i7-13650hx good for future proof?
The greatest crossover doesn't exi-
Bro did the tech review multiverse
1 year ago i watched one of your videos, it convinced me to go to the apple store and buy the device you recommended. In that store i met a wonderful person and in a few months we are going to get married, if it wasn't for your video, we wouldn't have met. Thank you.
Computer YouTubers!
Good timing too I’m going into my first year of university right now.
1:46 missing new ryzen ai 9 chips
I have a Acer aspire A6 and bought it for youtube watching and emails….recently had to do 5 x8hr zoom meetings with no other windows open and it kept saying low resources and watching tutor videos, sound was fine but picture was frame stuttering like at 2fps,unwatchable and irritating….i also just with youtube at 480p the cpu is running in 90-100% range,i cannot watch 720p with 48meg connection via wifi with excellent signal….will a dell inspiron 16 5635 improve my all round life here?
Among all, only Matt got into the "Back to school" theme strongly 🙂
jarrod my goat 🐐
ive gotten my hands on an ideapad 14 gen 9
8845hs cpu; 780m gpu; 32gb ram; 1tb ssd
all for 900€ (this is after tax for the bald eagle people)
The We Didn't Expect 😂
The surface with x elite is rly speaking to me. Hope they'l be able do iron down and bring a better app support to arm in 2 years(maybe even bring the price down a bit(my optimal configuration was 2k💀) or at least improove the gpu so i'l be worth the money). I still have 2 years of highschool left and my alr 4yo tuff f15 with i5 10300h and gtx1650ti m is still decent but rly beaten up. Like REALY BEATEN UP.
Basic computing needs for students that study law, business, or psychology… hmmm…. As someone that’s studying psych and regularly engages in large cluster analyses, data mining, and physiological data research which uses specialized heavy software… I’d not say psychology has basic computing needs. I started out in easy A classes… but by my senior year, I already knew R and Python. Today as a doctoral student in psychology, I am extremely fluent in R, Python, and MATLAB
I love math and statistics, so I am very happy with my research. But you have no idea how many undergrads try to make a career in psychology thinking they’d never have to do a single math operation in their lives and then are faced with learning R and hate their lives

Which laptop would you reccomend for running an EGPU
Recently got a Dell Inspiron 16 (AMD Ryzen 5 8540U) for a sweet deal and it has been phenomenal. The number pad has been excellent for all mechatronic related activities!
The only good back to school laptop would have to be the 16 inch Macbook Pro with the M3 max chip, with 48GB unified memory. If you're starting college though, I'd recommend at LEAST 96, and only for extremely basic tasks. Mine arrives in 7 days, hopefully 48GB is enough… i mean i dont usually use more than 1440p on YouTube but we'll have to see…
Is it normal for people to get a new laptop every year ?
Used thinkpad is 200 bucks and built like a repairable tank.
Love seeing jarred here
Next fan roundup when!?
Would be nice to see some 2 in 1 recommendations for studying and a tablet experience anything else but with windows of course… don't want to deal with a typical tablet os or chrome books
The HP Pavilion Plus & Aero are also good deals, especially very light!!
The laptop market sucks
I like tech but the only reason I’d review laptops would be to just help people out instead of genuinely being excited about it…
With that said, I appreciate you guys making videos on them
Please make more detail review on XMG Evo 15, really interested in this one.
got this to weeks ago Nitro v 15 anv15 51 55sj ca for 699 At staples. It has a nice thirteen gen I5 13420H 16 gb of ddr5 rtx 2050 and 144 hz ips led baclk light.
Recently got the asus zenbook 14 oled. The portability is just insane. Before that, i always leave my laptop in the office since my old laptop was heavy and 15.6 in. But this zenbook is just so much lighter and smaller at 14in, but still has a respectable build and beautiful design.
But honestly, if i didnt need a new laptop urgently? I would be waiting for a zenbook laptop with the zen 5.
I recently picked up a like-new secondhand EliteBook 845 for ~$380 and upgraded it with a 1TB SSD (planning on bumping the RAM up from 16 to 32GB as well)
No other person in my vicinity has such fancy all-metal laptop. I honestly don't get why people buy new budget laptops – they are just a crappy plastic version of the good ones which can be had dirt cheap second hand 🙂
Envy 16 user here
"Inpsiron"? really? 🤣
This was an awesome collaboration; thanks for having us! So many great recommendations all around!
Just buy lenovo thinkpad t480 or newer for fraction of the price
Avoid 8GB of RAM, My fellow South African students are avoiding 8GB opting for 4GB.
Laptop reviewers really know how to make their fans happy huh!
meanwhile in here student budget is N4020 with 4 Gb RAM and 128 storage only 😂😂🤣🤣
Ran SolidWorks (3D Modelling) on a 13" AMD Lenovo Yoga 6 for the last few years and it's handled everything like a champ. Also used it for photo processing (some large photo stitches) and some light gaming. All these tasks also done on an external 4K monitor connected via USB-C.
If you don't specifically need the power of a dedicated GPU, I highly recommend the Yoga line.
A little on the higher end of a $1000 budget, but they're extremely portable, charge via USB-C PD, and have a pretty good battery life, even with the heavier 3D tasks I was doing.
I started school with a 15.6" gaming laptop and found myself not actually wanting to take it anywhere because of its size, so I "downgraded" to a 13" and it's been a game changer for me and the size I'll be choosing for all my future laptops. Highly recommend trying a smaller system.
Also, for any data entry or engineering work where you're inputting a lot of numbers, highly recommend trying a "left-handed" external keyboard with the num pad on the left side. Or just an external separate num pad and put it on the left side. Your right hand never has to leave your mouse, and your letters are centered in front of you for standard typing. Another game changer.
You missed Ryzen AI HX 365, now as cheap as $1199 with 24GB (asus vivobook S14 120Hz OLED @ bestbuy).
I recommend anyone who want to save some money to buy the refurbished hp elitebook laptops, even a gen 5 will get you through the college and if you buy gen 6,7 to onward you can absolutely, totaly rely on it for programming major, elitebook series has the best keyboard in business, and they are business laptops and built so good and pleasing to everyday use, lightweight and premium, there metal gets cold in winter and I love that.
I'll be starting poly this month and I recently just got the 2024 ROG Strix G16 with RTX 4070 🤪
Why does the zenbook have 2 designs? One has ASUS while one has the A design. What’s the difference?
