  1. Hi Jim, this setup with Netbird is exactly what I need with a remote location very far away BUT I still have not figured out how to solve my problem with coturn in your first video. The logs in portainer for coturn says that the local adress 127.0.0.1:3478 is already in use when trying to bind to it. I really want to use this setup for my use case. I would appreciate any help to get this working.

  2. Excellent! I'm about to do something similar. When I'll fix my netbird/keycloak problem facing public wan. As I've double NAT (ISP router + my PFSense) I face some issue to setup NAT and access netbird dash and keycloak. But when it's fixed, I'll put a "HA" NextCloud between my home and somewhere over Netbird.
If you want some video idea, I was looking around SELinux and rootless containers and it is a quite deep topic 🙂
Thanks for your work, always a pleasure to watch and replicate your setup and learn more.

  3. You should try this again using WebDAV. Truenas has a WebDAV app that you can install to share a dataset and on the other end, it is my understanding that Windows will mount a WebDAV share as a Disk. I'm a MacOS user and I mount a Truenas share this way. I suggest WebDav becuase I think you'll find that it's far more performant than SMB. From a subjective point of view, I find going through file directories and loading files is much much faster with WebDAV

  4. Request: NetBox Deployment with SAML configured for your SSO environment. Since you now have multiple environments, NetBox would be nice for management and tracking, and I need to wrap my head around SAML.
