I own an Iomega (an EMC company) NAS. Model Iomega StorCenter px4-300d with 4 4tb HDD. It worked 7-9 years ago when i purchased it. Been collecting dust but got it for $299 -HDD cost. Can I/should I overwrite the NAS OS (firmware) with something open source, mainly cause its hard to find the latest update do to its age? Any help would be appreciated.

DO NOT USE RAID 0 ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE NO BACKUP
Don't recommend: way too much effort, go truenas instead. zfs mirrored volume / raidz would have been a better to at least have a chance if hard drive fails.

Hi great video! However I'm stuck in the duckdns part, I'm unable to access the domain that I created even though the cat.log shows OK. Hope you can help.
UPDATE: I've fixed it, I just entered my wan IP in the current IP of the domain I created.
