Shin Ryu Mod Manager (SRMM/RMM) guide for Steam Deck #steamdeck #linuxmint

Well after few requests and posts over the internet…I decided might as well do a video about it…so here it is! And it has some A.I. generated music tracks I made with some friends for fun.

First my own tracks πŸ˜‰

The Detective Dragon

This guide ALSO works on Linux Mint/debian/Fedora/Nobara40 based linux distro’s apart from SteamOS.
Highly recommended that you install and use with the NON flatpak version of Steam for least amount of headache.

Winetricks can be used instead of Protontricks. They can be downloaded from the SD/linux distro’s store.

Both may give the same access error on first boot. In the error itself…it will advise of a solution to be run on terminal. Just follow that and start’em again to see your games that were not shown in there previously.

Once loaded select “…default wineprefix…” then “winecfg”
In WINE, within librarires tab
ADD dinput8 from the drop down by selecting it and then adding it
ADD the second one by manually typing “winmm”

Once done just add the RMM in steam as a non steam game and off you go. Tested in Steam Deck & Linux Mint 22. The video shows full step by step guide on how to get TDD mod working on steamdeck and some gameplay.
