Running Windows XP Professional (x86) on Hyper-V!



You may know that I did this on VirtualBox, but it was very slow and I want to try again on Hyper-V! Enjoy!

NEW MacBook Air Specs:
– Motherboard: MacBook Air (M1, 2020)
– CPU, GPU, and RAM: Apple M1 Chip (8 GB RAM)
– Local Disk: 256 GB Flash Storage SSD (solid-state drive)
– OS: macOS Monterey 12.3.1
– Original ‘bundled-with’ OS at launch: macOS Big Sur 11.0

PC Specs (my computer is 11 years old, would you believe?):
– Motherboard: Lenovo ThinkCentre 5536RE5
– CPU: Intel Core i5 650 @ 3.20GHz
– GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 210
– RAM: 16 GB (4 slots of 4GB memory) DDR3
– Local Disk: 120 GB SSD (solid-state drive)
– USB Drive: 8 GB (USB 2.0)
– External Disk: 160 GB HDD (hard drive)
– OS: Windows 11 Pro (I was able to get Win11 with a cheat to bypass the unsupported processor and TPM module)
– Original ‘bundled-with’ OS: Windows 7 Professional

– Hyper-V (on PC)
– Adobe Premiere Pro 2022 (on Mac)
