The “Godmother of Herbalism”, Rosemary Gladstar, made her second annual appearance at the Thrivalist Fair in Addy Washington. For two days, Rosemary gave a walk in the garden tour of the property pointing out herbs and other plants and talking about their uses. Rosemary also gave a couple of classes about herbs and showed how to make tinctures. She also told stories about her first shop, being run over by a motorcycle, and how she recovered. I look forward to seeing Rosemary Gladstar next at the Thrivalist Fair in 2025.

Loved this video and The stories….my favorite is the turnaround on the name of firesider….what they did reminded me of the story in the Bible where a man forgave another of a debt he owed then the man who received the forgiveness for his debt turned around and demanded a person who owed him money to repay it …the man who forgave him came back and it wasn't good for him 😂. You all were kind. Hope they appreciate it it could have gone bad for them . ❤
opinions please!: I accidentally made tea from poison hemlock when I had misidentified it. I had no ill effects at all. It wasn't until later when I saw it growing large that I realized what I had ingested. Why do you think I didn't get sick?
I used plantain on my daughter's rash that she came home from school with. It started where her little shorts ended and stopped at the top of her little socks, and was on her arms the same way, starting where the sleeve ended and went down her arm. I boiled a few leaves in a little water and then rubbed it on her. You could immediately see where I had used the plantain because it left streaks of clear skin everywhere I used it. It was easy to see where I missed. The teacher said that it could have been a reaction to having the carpets cleaned a few days before and they sit on the floor for story time. I've been a fan ever since. Around 40 years.
