  1. Installed it yesterday, my computer ran normally while I was playing tomb raider.
Exited the game, try to open steam and it said the service failed and then this endless cycle of rebooting and blue screen started. Literally all applications (except Spotify and thankfully command prompt) do not work. Ran a sfc and it said it corrected my corrupted files, restarted computer and stared at a black screen for the 15th

I can’t even access settings, do I just wait for the devs to fix this or is my computer just gonna stay like this??

  2. I haven’t had an issue 4 years since I had my computer but the update I downloaded on the 9/30/2024 after I downloaded that I I get a green screen sometimes for no reason I know it because it’s update before I was not getting any of that issues.

  3. Another weird issue I have been having is I lose the ability to click with my mouse or on my track pad. The only way to fix it is to reboot after bringing up task manager using tab to get to the shutdown/restart menu. Has anyone else had this issue? It's been happening for the last two weeks, and I have had it happen four times during that period. Very Annoying.

  4. Here are some good news about this. I do not know if this is true, but I just turned on my computer and laptop just today since last week and I did not even receive this update through Windows Update. I think Microsoft might have pulled back this bug fixing update from the systems that could be affected by this mess.

  5. I don't update unless it's a security update. I have no interest to be a unpaid alpha/beta tester for microsoft. They already harvest all my "activity" and "telemetry" without compensating me. There should be laws for this.

  6. Yes this update is causing some issues to me as well. The wireless keyboard and mouse are stuttering and the volume menu on the right side is not opening once back from sleep.

  7. This is why I never install preview updates. Ever. As you said, turn off the toggle for receiving updates as soon as they are available. My opinion is preview updates should stay in the insider programme until they are vetted properly.

  8. I am at 27695.1000 and i get a error 0800705aa but microsoft to update and try again and again 26 times! (I did correct the problem following microsoft instructions) no change…funny is it not 25 times!
