The Hyundai Exter CNG is now redesigned with Twin 30L Cylinder layout for the CNG tanks replacing the 60L massive CNG tank previously available. The 30+30L CNG tanks are placed under the boot floor with safety frames and shut off valves. The combined capacity of the CNG tanks is 7-9 kg.

The Exter CNG as usual comes with the same 1.2L Kappa 4cyl petrol engine mated to a 5 speed manual gearbox.
The Exter CNG has a claimed mileage of 27km / kg.
