I would recommend going into detail the Proton and other command line arguments that you can add to a game like forcing HDR or getting the game to run at all. For instance, the DX12 games I have like The Last of Us would probably intimidating to new users with my command line arguments: ENABLE_HDR_WSI=1 VKD3D_FEATURE_LEVEL=12_2 PROTON_FORCE_LARGE_ADDRESS_AWARE=true VKD3D_CONFIG=dxr11 gamescope
h 2160 -H 2160 -f -r 240 –force-grab-cursor –adaptive-sync –hdr-enabled –hdr-debug-force-output –env ENABLE_GAMESCOPE_WSI=1 DXVK_HDR=1 DISABLE_HDR_WSI=1 %command%Heya! This is a really nice tutorial. I have a bit of a special case. I'm running both an AMD GPU and a NVIDIA GPU. Would Fedora be able to seamlessly support both cards with the drivers installed like how Windows does?
I like seeing videos like this getting out there. I’m using Proton on Fedora 40 and using xorg for now, as I haven’t been able to get 120Hz working smoothly on Wayland yet, but that’s likely coming soon. Good video 👍
Aurora and PopOS are the best Linux distros you should use for Nvidia GPUs IMO.
With these you don't need to worry about GPU drivers.
Look forward for Mint version!
A real good tutorial
Outstanding. You're a natural at tutorial/explaining content.
