How to make snapshot of virtual machine in VirtualBox
Shut down the virtual machine
but make sure to click (Save Machine State)
Expand options
Click Snapshots
Take
Enter the name for the snapshot
and that’s it
Now you can start the machine
If you need to restore the snapshot, do folowing steps
turn off the machine
select snapshot to restore
click restore
and the machine returned to the state
when the snapshot was taken

Here’s how:

Shut down your VM (Save Machine State)
Click “Snapshots” (Expand options)
Hit “Take” & name your snapshot
Boot up your VM whenever needed!

Power off your VM
Select the snapshot & click “Restore”
Your VM reverts to the snapshot state!
