If you want to go back to a simpler time when Windows was easier to use, you can easily do so by installing Windows XP on VMware Player for free. Once you create your Windows XP virtual machine, you can use it as if Windows XP was installed on your desktop computer. Running Windows XP as a VM allows you to test any old software or run software that will not run on newer versions of Windows.
