Virtualization

How to enable virtualization on a Gigabyte B550 Bios.

As described at IBM: Virtualization uses software to create an abstraction layer on top of computers that allows the hardware elements of a single computer — processors, memory, storage, and more — to be partitioned into multiple virtual computers, usually called virtual machines (VMs). Each virtual machine runs its own operating system (OS) and behaves like a standalone computer, even though it runs on only a portion of the actual primary computers. In this video I will show you how to enable this functionality to be able to run hypervisors such as VM VirtualBox and Hyper-V. I used my gigabyte motherboard in this video and windows 11 to confirm virtualization is enabled.
