Sorry, but on that first ship. Disguising your high capacity escape pods as gun turrets isn't clever. It's retarded. The first target any sane enemy will go for are your turrets so as to destroy or disable them. You do not want them to escape and you want to end the fight asap. This design choice let's your enemy kill two birds with one stone without knowing it.
Who needs detailed specs about imaginary space ships? Who is this for? And why? I assume it's like those train junkies.. maybe some autism?

Putting guns on the escape pods doesn't seem that smart… surely the enemy would target weapons engines and shields. In the very first star wars (i guess the 4th in order) vaders ship takes out subsystems rather than destroying the ship
