  1. Thanks for the positive spirits. I’ve been struggling with CCNP SPCOR since the beginning of December. Even though I have been working in de networking field for around 3 years, going to RIPE meetings and been graduated a Masters in networking a security… It’s hard to get a good grasp on what I know and don’t know. I took the IP Specialists book which is the only SPCOR exam guide out there. It’s not as good as I would’ve hoped (would not recommend it as reading material). I used the BGP from theory to practice book as well, it is quite satisfactory. I’m trying to lab up all the configuration parts of the exam but I’ve spent way too much time on automation skills using Nornir/Napalm. (As I’m already quite knowledgeable in Ansible) So, I’m kinda deviating too much from the SPCOR exam (that I have planned in the end of February and planning to postpone by a couple of weeks). It’s just that this exam is a lot of self study and trying to find the right materials unlike the Enterprise track for example. Also, I have mixed feelings on the test exam questions out there, they differ quite a lot.

I thought I’d share my opinion on the SPCOR preparation.

  2. Hello Rob. Thank you for your videos, labs and all learning materials you make. Some time ago I bought your workbook and have some questions. Does EVE-NG file contain initial configs for the devices? Devices are booting with default config. It's possible to copy paste from pdf file where there initial config, but I didn't find there initial configs for SW15 and SW15 for example. Also I didn't find initial configs for R26 and R27.

  3. Can you do a video on best track/learning for the new CCNP SP 350-501 SPCOR? Can't find any Cisco press release books on it yet, and thoughts on the concentration exams. Cheers!
Hopeing you'd do a personal course alongside your new CCNP Enterprise track I have seen you working on!

  4. i definitely agree with the INE vs. CBT Nuggets comparison. I've been a fan of INE for 12 years. Brian McGahan's videos are second to none. An INE subscription (the old ones…the new ones are trash), an O'Reilly (formerly Safari Books Online) subscription, religious Anki flash cards, and a Narbik boot camp equals the recipe for success IMHO.

  5. I think INE courses are over 200 hours now for ccna/ccnp. Most of us pass ccna with 50 hour cbt nuggets and boson exams.they definitely have monopoly on ccie materials though
