  1. Always do this when a full screen application somehow freezes or doesn't let me move the mouse to the task bar. U can also do CTRL ALT DEL and load up the task manager as well. And the right ALT key is a good way of bringing up menus too

  2. You can enable mouse keys and move the mouse around with the num-pad keys. This trick also enables the mouse pointer when no physical mouse is connected, for example when accessing the machine over VNC.

  3. This short is just really great David!
Now we all just gotta put it on a pdf to be sent around – there is SO much good stuff on here that I can't remember it all. Thank you all for GREAT inputs. 😅😊

  4. I have been trying to spread the word of Control Shift Escape for years since I first learned about this. Still people are stuck on Control Alt Delete. We really are just creatures of habit!

  5. Thanks @davidbombal, also I do the same (killing chrome for example) by pressing WIN + R and typing "taskkill /im chrome.exe /f" which forces the kill of chrome and end all the chrome.exe related processes (we all know chrome starts a lot of processes)

  6. Win+R, %temp% also temp to delete everything and clear junk. Most useful in windows.

Also David have you heard about Hyprland, if yes we linux geeks will be more happy to a video on it 😁

  7. Shift+F10. Does The Right-Click. No Need For Broken Mouse Buttons.

Edit 1 :- Also Works On Linux And Mac.

Edit 2 :- This Literally Sends Right-Click To OS From Keyboard, Instead From Mouse, In Some Cases. In Some Other Cases, The OS Detects Keycode/Key Combination, And Runs Right-Click Code.

  8. I had to learn all the hotkeys by memory due to a broken mouse, or a glitchy or unusable Monitor and having all the hotkeys memorized helps. It is fascinating how many similarities are there in different Operating Systems such as Linux, Mac and Windows. Once you do it a few times, you type away like a genius or a fictional hacker in movies. Just saying…
