Old but golden one 😀 Did you know this? What are you tips and tricks?
When you're in Task Manager with a process highlighted, you can also use "Delete" to end the task also
Just use super f4 lol….
Well, I just unplug the cable to fix bugs
Child's play
JUST USE LINUX CLI
The trackpad watching him type bunch of shortcuts 👁️. 👁️
👄
Always do this when a full screen application somehow freezes or doesn't let me move the mouse to the task bar. U can also do CTRL ALT DEL and load up the task manager as well. And the right ALT key is a good way of bringing up menus too
you can also close windows with winkey+x then U twice
For Windows, such stupid "tricks" and for Linux, many advanced tricks. Why ?
Running out of video ideas?
Many laptops have removed the menus key from keyboard. Unfortunately
Shift+Win Arrow to move app to another monitor (usefull when you don't see the other monitor like POS system)
in program manager you can do it by just pressing delete when you are on the program to end
I always use "Windows key + X, U, U" to quickly shut down my PC
Just press win + d to select the desktop and press alt + f4 to shut your pc down right away.
Windows + x and u and u again shutdowns the pc, r restarts , s sign outs.
win+x;u;u shutdown windows
You can enable mouse keys and move the mouse around with the num-pad keys. This trick also enables the mouse pointer when no physical mouse is connected, for example when accessing the machine over VNC.
I know all of them
This short is just really great David!
Now we all just gotta put it on a pdf to be sent around – there is SO much good stuff on here that I can't remember it all. Thank you all for GREAT inputs. 😅😊
1) win+r
2) taskkill /f /im chrome.exe
3) ctrl+shift+enter => yes
4) stutdown -s -t 0
Done 🙂
One of my favorites.. Win+D takes you to desktop no matter how many apps you have open. I call it the boss shortcut
If you’re GPU drivers are causing problems , Press Ctrl+Shift+Win+B to refresh graphics drivers
Nvr expected these small stuffs from u?
Keylogger checked
Yup. But I didn't know the escape 1.
I have been trying to spread the word of Control Shift Escape for years since I first learned about this. Still people are stuck on Control Alt Delete. We really are just creatures of habit!
Do the same thing but on Kali && arch
Its actually called menu key, thou you got that with fn
win + r, type "cmd" and then write "shutdown -s -t 0 -f" to force an arrest instead of waiting for windows to close all programs
Win+X+U+U shut-down no need of Alt+F4
Winkey + X > U > U for a quick shutdown.
Really ?
Thanks @davidbombal, also I do the same (killing chrome for example) by pressing WIN + R and typing "taskkill /im chrome.exe /f" which forces the kill of chrome and end all the chrome.exe related processes (we all know chrome starts a lot of processes)
Cmd. Shutdown -f -30
Win+R, %temp% also temp to delete everything and clear junk. Most useful in windows.
Also David have you heard about Hyprland, if yes we linux geeks will be more happy to a video on it 😁
I wish things could be easier as hitting the Windows logo then typing instead of the Windows logo + R then typing.
You can create bat. Files to make your own short cut key strokes.
South African?
Shift+F10. Does The Right-Click. No Need For Broken Mouse Buttons.
Edit 1 :- Also Works On Linux And Mac.
Edit 2 :- This Literally Sends Right-Click To OS From Keyboard, Instead From Mouse, In Some Cases. In Some Other Cases, The OS Detects Keycode/Key Combination, And Runs Right-Click Code.
I had to learn all the hotkeys by memory due to a broken mouse, or a glitchy or unusable Monitor and having all the hotkeys memorized helps. It is fascinating how many similarities are there in different Operating Systems such as Linux, Mac and Windows. Once you do it a few times, you type away like a genius or a fictional hacker in movies. Just saying…
I must be better than average
Great video, sir can you pls share a sheet which have all the keystrokes written on it
🥚 Inside Mousers.
..I was always in escape mode^
Tap Hackett back thru again Typology 'e' Greek +_•
Is it just that I'm super old and had to do this for years because perks bent pins in PS2 mice lol
