  3. any help why windows 11 pro 24h2 keeps getting corrupted files while running sfc /scannow

is that okay or bug or what

  4. Another issue on Memtest errors on newer systems is the speed the RAM is running at. If you are using an AMD Ryzen system the memory controller on the CPU often cannot handle RAM at its full overclock on both channels and while the memory can work for common workloads and even some gaming the system will randomly crash in others and if you Memtest it it will say that ALL the RAM is bad, or at least one channel. This will go away if you reduce the speed on the RAM but until it passes the Memtest you can't trust it. It is better when buying RAM to keep it to a single channel because of this.

This issue is well known in the industry, but next to no one talks about it when making content, and when I first hit it It drove me crazy to the point of me almost swearing off gaming until I could get a new CPU and RAM.

  5. Windows is ALWAYS checking for updates. I do clean installs with no internet connection and no access but somehow, it is "magically" downloading updates, according to itself. I think they're just showing a video of what "SHOULD BE" happening and not actually "WHAT IS" happening.

In my experience, when my computer isn't behaving, it was best to just save all the files and folders I want and to do a clean install. Every version of Windows I had from 3.1 (When I got started) through Windows 8.1 I've had to do a complete reformat and install of Windows and fresh install all programs, drivers, etc. Every 6 months or so. So every New Years Eve waiting for the ball drop, would be reformatting my computer. And then again every July 4th. So not quite equally spaced.

Sp never really understood the repair. Also, 9 x out of 10, a repair is required because something bad got onto the computer, so that has to be removed first, or a reinstall isn't going to do anything or only fix the problem for a day or two and meanwhile, it's getting worse. At least that has been my experience since I was 18 years old, and got my first computer, with Windows 3.1. in 1994. My Grandma thought I should have one. So she got me a used one for Christmas 1994. Then I learned how to build my own and it has been my hobby ever since.

  6. I preffer the Reset PC option as i once tried the Re-install option and it re-installed my corrupted version and not a new version, the Reset PC option gives you the option to download from the 'Cloud' which is from MS servers and all programs and settings remain untouched

  7. Please do a tutorial for in-place upgrade of Windows 11 from Windows 10, skipping TPM and all other requirements, maybe using one of those custom ISOs that you showed in your other video. It would help a lot of users on Win 10 systems that don't have supported hardware for WIn11 in-place upgrade. Thank you.

  8. You should always have a repair thump drive or DVD! if you a caveman in a safe place at home anyway. But the best way is not to Break you PC in the first place 80% of people done something stupid downloading junkware from GitHub or watching porn on a dodgy site you name I've seen it. They Break it I fix it and that makes me money telling Theo's 80% of people how to do this they will do it wrong and call me happy days.

  9. My laptop has a rare issue that doesn't allow the repair process to work or for windows automatic update to work.

I once tried the repair, it un-installed the existing version, couldn't reinstall it, then it was a laptop without an OS. I had to reinstall an OS using an external drive.

Anytime windows automatic update occurs, it always stops at 46% then crashes. It'd then reinstall the old version. This has happened on multiple occasions.

Although I didn't buy the laptop new, I bought it as an imported pc with a locked bios.

  10. Well, just like 4 months ago I had this problem with Win11 21H2 not updating cumulative updates anymore, and I'm on a UNSUPPORTED laptop.. All this said, my copy was activated, since my machine came with Win 8.1 originally. SO, what to do?

Simple, I downloaded Win 11 23H2 from Microsoft, copied the contents of the ISO into a folder called Win 11 setup and then I did THIS:
Inside the ISO folder go into the folder Sources, find appraiserres.dll and open it with Notepad. highlight and select the ENTIRE contents and delete it. Save the empty dll, go to setup and run it, et voila.. Everything worked perfectly on my UNSUPPORTED hardware and my updates works perfectly while all my installed goodies were still there.. Might have to debloat again though.. 😇 Needless to say, If your hardware supports Windows 11, the dll fix won't be necessary.. AND, make sure you use the same language selection in setup, otherwise you'll get a FRESH installation..

  11. Unfortunately, I can't get there.
Win 11 23H2 update stops at 8% and then this message appears: This computer does not currently meet Windows 11 system requirements. Failed to update the partition reserved for the system.
The GPT, EFI system partition size is 100MB, of which 88MB is occupied.
I guess this is too little and should be increased. Basic Partition Assistant programs can't do this. Any idea how to solve this problem?
