Windows 11 on ARM is rough – Acer Swift 14 AI
The Acer Swift 14 AI is built around a Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus chip and that means in this review we will be dealing with Windows 11 running on Arm, rather than the usual x86 from AMD or Intel. As you will see we had quite a rocky ride in this review and we hope you find the journey interesting. Read more here:

bruh 5/10 was already too high the compatibility problem is HUGE, if you want battery and browser just get a 1/4 priced tablet + a 10$ bluetooth keyboard
Cinebench-wise, R23 is x64-only and entirely emulated on win/arm64 via Prism. Cinebench 2024 has an arm64 version, but you need to deliberately download that — the app cannot figure out the host arch on its own.
I am actually excited to see how things go with AI in the next two years – once they figure out how to do hands, arms and feet and eyes, it might have a chance of fooling people
Leo – if they ever use AI to create reviews, I thiink we all need to give up and go home
What a lot of crap
Aren't you supposed to download ARM release of CB2024 ?
👩🏻💻
That intro was hilarious. Maybe copilot could have used AI to fix it from spelling out the name of the actual platform its using. Thats my key takeaway
Thanks Leo, I can safely say I think we should just stick with Intel and AMD for the time being unless you use office or something similar and need max battery life on the go
The next year will see if AI use cases on a laptop makes even any sense. So many tech things end up as fads for the mainstream consumer
If you buy a laptop for AI just now you are mad in the head, its not even a platform yet – like Apple AI and iPhone 16’s – not even out yet
I like Leos reviews, always tells it like it is – just surprised that AI seems to not have developed much since they announced it. Even the copilot+ response was just voice to text from some stupid website
People suffers because they want. use Linux mint instead.😊
Life is just so complicated now, AI can be used for the good, but so much of it right now is utter nonsense
Auto tune, AI, fake videos, fake everything – welcome to 2024. Can we go back in time to before I was born?
Ai – wow its being pushed on even my music channels I watch – even making videos now for big bands like Queen – its sh1te too
Leo – never replaced by AI !!!
I think having one of these if you are wealthy as a second laptop is the best way to go about it. Figure out what you can use remotely and use the battery life
Doesnt look like this is ready for mainstream.
OMG that copilot AI just showed me a reason not to upgrade to win11.
Could be a really useful laptop if you spend any time travelling away from a power socket.
Not sure whether to pull the trigger on one of these or wait a bit.
Kind of depressing since NT has been functional on ARM since 2012.
Anything with native ASM code is going to be awful on this thing. Which means anything computationally intensive is going to be slow as it’s going to have to emulate.
I want one of those USB-C power draw dongles Intel use they are really cool.
