I have TPM 2 but CPU i7-7700HQ CPU isn't supported [despite it having the required instruction set necessary as reported by yourself earlier this year] so I shall probably be dumping Microsoft and getting a Chromebook I think as only really use laptop for browsing; really tired of their antics towards their customers/users. Awaiting to see what their proposals are for extended support for home users and I suspect that this is a ploy to get more Win 10 users to go down this route or as you say buy a new PC/Laptop.
it wont make people move on as they cant as it will not run. it just means there will be loads more people not running windows 11.
