Windows 11 KB5017461 Released to Improve Specific Areas of the OS!



Microsoft has released Online Service Experience Pack — Windows.Settings.Account — version 4.0.783.0 that is focused on delivering improvements for specific areas such as the new “Your Microsoft account settings” page. These new Online Service Experience Packs enable them to make changes to specific areas of the OS outside of a major Windows update.

  1. It’s ad pushers and nagware screens for not having tpm 2.0. Whatever…. They turn off Age old trusted tools like system restore, and push their AI driven garbage to force YOU the owner of the computer, to give them everything on your computer though a Microsoft account so YOU can be held hostage by them when they decide you have to pay a subscription to use YOUR computer.

  2. Quick improvements to MS account settings page. Translation, the MS account settings page will stop working sooner or later. I wonder if anyone has found a way to block specifically these type of updates.

    1. I am running Win 11 24H2 on not officially supported hardware. Is this the reason I do not get any updates?
    2. if so, is there a way to fix it?
