  1. I am facing any issue with 24H2, when my computer goes to sleep , there is no way to recover normally as the version 23H2.
PC will take long time to restore the session and in Task manager I found out that "system interrupts" is using up to 56% of CPU power and after several minutes "system interrupts" usage becomes normal and now its time for "system" to use up to 56% of CPU power.
The computer will be very very slow and can not be used
The only way for me to to use my computer is by restarting it , and also is taking a very long tike.
24H2 is not stable and has and issue with sleep mode.

  2. Does this mean that 24H2 is the Millennium version of Windows 11?

Does this also mean that the Windows 12 we were expecting before the change of CEO at Microsoft, was going to be more of a Detroit lemon than Windows 11?

  3. I installed 24H2 a couple days after it was released. So far I haven't had any issues or problems with it. My desktop is fully Windows 11 supported so I don't know if that would make a difference or not. Probably not, but the bottom line is so far no problem in my case. I do have to admit, that on every Windows update I cringe a little during reboot Just wondering if something will be screwed up.

  4. I have installed 24H2 on some new and 2 older unsupported pc's recently. The unsupported machines did better, not great. One the last new pc… constant crashes and bsod's. I scrapped 24H2 and reinstalled 23H2 for a clean and working install. I'm sticking with 23H2 for the time being.

side note: On the unsupported i7-4770 PC running 24H2 the intel 4600 graphics has a security issue with the driver. Can't turn on memory integrity due to a security issue with driver. Intel's driver page noted it's a know issue they do not plan on fixing. I ran DDU in safe mode to remove the drivers for the Intel 4600, rebooted and quickly turned on memory integrity, disabled the intel graphics in device manager because Microsoft vulnerable driver blocklist popped up a message it wouldn't allow the driver to load. I'm using a GTX 1650 Super so not an issue in my case, I'm leaving 24H2 on it and seems to be working ok.

  5. I have also found a bug in Windows 11 v24H2:
If you try to install a driver, or a program that is kept inside of an ISO image, it won't work!
    Error: "Incorrect Function".

However, if you copy that driver or program kit from the ISO image, and paste it on any regular partition, it will run normally.

    I have tried:
    1. Re-installing Windows clean.
    2. Enabling TPM 2.0 & Secure Boot in the BIOS.
    3. Using a newer mounting program (PowerISO).
    4. Updating Windows to the newest build.

In the end, my only solution was: reverting to v23H2.

  6. Microsoft, is pushing out stuff, no one wants, ads on the start menu, etc, and ads in the OS. If they keep it up, going to go to Linux, libre office and leave MS behind. You can order some PC without an OS, so if buying new now, that is what I would do.

  7. What happens if you got the update and it installed fine and it seems to be working just fine..i mean the games, web cam are working just fine. would i be ok? I am not seeing a problem with my pc..

  8. My CPU multithread performance took a big hit in a number of benchmarks with 24H2. Timespy cpu score went from over 27,000 to 21,000. I did a system restore back to 23H2. Microsoft confirmed in a support thread that they are trying to mitigate the Intel cpu voltage issues. If I wanted a gimped system would have bought a Dell or HP.

  9. How unexpected LOL. I only have Win11 on a gen2 usb, and that one I made to stay on the 23 version, not even thinking about upgrading to 24. Forbidden. I almost don't use it anyway. Still Win10 and then Linux. Next year at this time it will be the same just minus Win10.
