  1. Good video, Giles. I use a USB stick with Ventoy on it, and added the 24H2 ISO from MS onto it, and it installed no problem on my system which is unsapported. Job done. Amen. πŸ™‚

  2. I did the setup your showing didn't work for me !Device name DESKTOP-4ODBMEU

    Processor AMD Phenom(tm) II X6 1045T Processor 2.70 GHz

    Installed RAM 12.0 GB

  3. I managed to install win11 24H2 from scratch on a Fujitsu e 746

With a stick made with Rufus

At the moment I see that it works

It is a laptop that is not usually used because it has an ssd on the bottom

I think that on the other PCs, laptops you will still stay at 23H2 until next year

  4. Worked for me. I did a full install using the 24H2 official ISO with Rufus. I have no TPM, no secure boot. It seems highly unlikely that Microsoft would block the loopholes considering so many of its users are still on unsupported hardware. I expect if they ever do it, they'll wait until they think most users have already upgraded their hardware.

  5. I was able to install it with a script I download from git hub that stripped down all the bloatware, bypassed minimum requirements and got and moved the start menu to the left where it was since windows 3.1. It also got rid of edge.

  6. Maybe it's because I had a triple-boot 2000 Dell desktop once (98se-2k-XP); but I don't look for trouble anymore. W10 and ESU or 0Patch for my 2012 Dell desktop.
