Can you share a folder for pictures and they can upload and access that one folder without accessing any other file? I just order one and I’m curious if you can give family access individually different accounts and have. Access to specific folder for their files without seeing anyone else photos . Can you do that?
Okay, I think we need one of these. All our pictures and videos are on this hard drive that’s super annoying to access. I bet you $100 I won’t be able to set it up myself though 😂

I miss what this channels was before you became a "YouTuber". You know, back when you were a just a guy new to the Lumix S1H, and just sharing your observations about the camera and your settings/best practices. Now, almost every time you post a video I feel like I'm watching an advert for some product. 🥹

Just be careful with keeping one disk in reserve, a mechanical disk that has not been used for a long time may start to work worse (this of course requires a long time) – check with the disk manufacturer to see what is going on with yours, remember that server disks have a really long operating time.

I got mine from eBay brand 200 bucks cheaper than ugreen sells it. There's a ton of 4 Bay ones for 500 on there.
What m.2 ssd and HDDs are you using?
Does Ugreen support thumbnails for video files? Synology requires Videostation to generate them
