  1. If you’re gonna steal, your only bet is to steal directly from the mines. Diamonds can be graded and processed later by a 3rd party.

However by the the time a processed diamond becomes valuable, its already enough just to break even.

  2. Buddy of mine worked in one of these mines in the processing part of the operation. He said that when leaving, employees would pull colored ping pong balls to determine the level of search. It varied from simple bag/clothing search to full cavity search. Cameras EVERYWHERE and you weren't allowed to pick up ANYTHING off the floor. Drop a piece of paper? Call security to watch you pick it up.

  3. The biggest reason why they dont steal is because they would then need to sell it i mean its literaly just a rock and im pretty sure the diamond industry is regulated so if some dude showed up to a jewlery store trying to sell raw unproceesed diamonds he would likely get investigated

  4. Also..try selling a dimaond for decebt money, or dimaonds as a regular joe with no certification.

Your not getting good prices. The only person who will take them off you at low value as they not got any offical source, weight, and clarity etc.

  5. Reality uncut diamonds is literally worthless. You will need at least 3 carot diamonds just to be able to get €1k. First no one will bay from random persone uncut diamonds

  6. Unprocessed ore and stuff is different though. It's very rare but, if it's inbeded in a wall or the ground and you pick it up then it's yours. I believe it's the stuff actually being processed that's illegal to take.
