My fps 300+ but i got sudden fps drop to 1 fps for a second every match???
My HW configuration is near bottom of the barrel. Playing on a lowly AMD RX 6300 on a PCIe 2.0 mobo running an 4-core i5-3570 16GB DDR3 RAM, I would surprised how good the DirectX12 Fortnite performance is now. It was far, FAR better than the performance mode setting/engine experience.
In terms of a low amount of shudders and surprisingly high frame rates in this new Remix map. I hope it continues with the new map/season.

It is a problem with Performance Mode guys. Epic even said it themselve. Play on Dx12 until the problem is fixed by EPIC because it has nothing to do with your shaders and your PC!!!

I played this season a few matches can’t do it it’s trash mechanics are so flipping slow and not conducive for zero build the mini gun mythic definitely a casual item reload is all I have been playing I can’t do webby movement in this current season epic is out of ideas they have a great platform and regurgitating seasons from antiquity SMH 🤦♂️

Deleting the FortniteGame folder and clearing the shader cache actually helped the fps stutters for me i was having on dx12 and performance mode

when shaders keep recompiling, you get crashes, stutters, and just overall bad performance, they haven’t fixed this in forever. it’s not your PC at fault, It’s like a memory leak.
