An expat living in the Philippines, Tom Smith @ButConsiderThis was a pastor for 2 years of a small evangelical church working under the direction of another pastor from Africa.
He and his wife left the church in August of 2023 after they deconstructed their faith.
Tom was spurred on by studying the Bible and other texts in detail as well as witnessing the mistreatment of his wife, and also experiencing mistreatment himself, from their home church.
