I think the ability to remote view/astral travel using only ourselves will be a very valuable tool in the future since everything can be faked (deep fakes) and manipulated by ouside technologies and AI.
Only what you see with your own (mind's) eye you can be sure of is real. This way we might also be able to influence AI's physical body, the serveres it runs on, and we might be able to turn it off if we want to.
