VXLAN – EVPN Anycast Distributed Gateway



What is the best way to perform routing in a VXLAN topology? Most experts would say that the EVPN Anycast Distributed Gateway is the preferred choice for the majority of VXLAN deployments. In this video, I will describe this feature and explain how it operates.

Virtual eXtensible LAN, or VXLAN is a network virtualization technology that is exceptionally useful for large datacenter and cloud computing deployments. VXLAN has been developed to overcome some of the limitations of scalability that are inherent to more traditional Layer 2 technologies.
