vCenter is a core component that enables you to manage the whole vSphere infrastructure from a centralized view. You can administer all your ESXi hosts and their respective virtual machines.
There are many features that comes with vCenter such as vSphere HA, vSphere DRS, vMotion, vSphere FT etc…
