Intravisor introduces a new cloud software architecture, providing a virtualization abstraction called “cap-VMs” in the Refactoring code to use the CHERI compartmentalization category. Intravisor offers strong isolation, low shared TCB, and fast IPC, using hardware memory capabilities as the foundation for virtualization.
