ULTIMATE REALISM! – Sim-Lab Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team Sim Racing Wheel REVIEW

————————————————————————————–
The quest for ultimate realism may have reached its peak with the Sim-Lab Officially Licensed Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team Sim Racing Steering Wheel (2024)!
Sim-Lab have recreated the 2024 wheel used by Mercedes F1 Team drivers Lewis Hamilton and George Russell. Not only have they used the Mercedes F1 Team CAD files for the design of this wheel, but many of the exact same components as the real life F1 wheel have been used. While there is no doubt that this is extremely cool, it comes with an equally extreme price tag of US$2499.
So whether you’re looking to buy the ultimate Sim Racing F1 wheel, or you just want to see what this kind of money can get you, and how Sim-Lab are pushing the limits of what can be done in Sim Racing, this detailed review is an exciting one!

I respect that wheel for its authenticity, but I think Im gonna stick with looking to buy the Simagic FX Pro.
Could you please do a review of the Simjack Pro pedals (stock vs mod) since they're are supposedly the best budget pedals with customization available? I think it'll really help a lot of people aiming for budget builds including me. Thanks!
You can use a super soft paint brush and a little bit of cornstarch on the rubber grips to deal with that tackiness that develops as it's used.
With the additional cable connector, can this wheel have a hub adapter to adapt it to the Thrustmaster T-818?
Hi everyone, I need some help!!!
I'm looking to start my sim racing adventure but am stuck in choosing pedals…just not sure what to get and what to even spend.
I would be pairing it with:
– Moza R9 Base
– Moza KS Wheel
– Still trying to decide on cockpits and pedals.
Does anyone know what would be great for this type of set up?
Have you attempted to mount the wheel onto the Fanatec DDs?
How can i mount this on a simagic alpha wheelbase?
I think the simhub way is absolutely the best way. one software to manage everything to do with sim racing rather than 1 software for my wheel 1 for my pedals 1 for my wheel base one for my shifter. simagic has the right idea by giving me the choice with my GT neo but lets be honest. the amount of manufacturers that work with sim hub its now in their best interest to keep it going and sim hub has become such an integral part of the sim racing community as a whole its not going anywhere.
2600€ God Damn it ! I love Mercedes but Hell No !
I want this.
Who wants to buy my Soelpc XR and my Ascher f64 v3?…lol
Isnt he Grid RSR just as expensive?
I think this new wheel is the only wheel worth its money. Handmade, hand layed carbon fiber. I thought it would be 2x the price of what it is.
Damn, you are talking fast 😀
wish a wheel like that was available for the ps5,
The only 1:1 of an f1 wheel I've ever seen made was made by Sala motorsports
Thanks Will. Been waiting for your review for weeks😅
Ordered this wheel an hour after release, and i haven’t changed my mind after watching your review.
Is there a mod on Etsy to put this on my T300?
Seems fantastic, but as I really only simrace in VR, I prefer the F-Pro from Cube Controls for solidity and versatility and not least tactile feel of the thing
Can i have your gloves 😁
Can mount a moza on it
Every formula wheel must have thumb encoders like this!
Great, after that you only need a real life F1 monocoque to go with the wheel!
Honesty i don`t get why would anyone spend so much for a wheel, if you connect this to some Logitech 5 nm wheel base ffb will be bad regardless if you spend 2500€ to this. My point is that can you really get more from games with a gear like this when feedback still comes from the base you use? Cheaper wheel will feel same. Maybe it just feels expensive because i`m poor😅
Is this wheel compatible with NFS underground?
This review are not fot me
I need more money
