Windows 7 has had one of the most loved UI’s of all Windows releases. In this video, we’ll be taking a look at Revert8Plus, which has a goal of reverting Windows 11/10/8 into Windows Vista or 7… but how good is it?

Revert8Plus works a lot better on Windows 10 currently. I'm guessing the Windows 11 experience will improve as more updates get released.
Can't believe you're bashing a beta build so much, and frankly, for a bunch of packed Windhawk mods, this works great.
As others have said, use Windows 10.
This is not an OS but a mod, I don't know why you keep comparing it to a Windows distro.

you should try it on windows 10 instead, revert8plus is buggy on 11
i am certainly not the first to say this but this works 1000x better on windows 10, the only time i've ever tried revert8plus on windows 11 was in a vm and i was astounded by how much worse it was than on 10

I would personally recommend ImSwordQueen's Windows 10 21H2 to Windows 7 transformation pack. In my experience, it replicates the Windows 7 Feel as close to as perfect as you can get on Windows 10.
Hi, developer of Revert8Plus here. It works much better on Windows 10. Almost all the issues you mentioned aren't a problem on Windows 10. Also, I'm working on improving the boot animation (and no, reloaded7 doesn't have it, yet)
the vista theme is included, but most of them don't work on windows 11. the best result is on windows 10. There is also a windows 8 theme and a widnows 10 theme i think, but i don't remember (ps. windows 11 is buggy with themes, so that's why it might be bad)
You are using a beta, incomplete version I think. That is why it looks weird

windows 10 works much better, 11 customization sucks
edit: windows 11 can only has the 7 theme, which still barely works because of horrible support.
that is a very old version of revert8plus
probably the reason why it takes so long to open because its extracting to temporary folder so the process gets faster
its the same process if you try to run aio runtime 2.5.0 installer you seem to see nothing when you open it, but minute later it shows UAC Prompt
This works way better on Windows 10 just to let you know.
