I donโt see how the admins are trying to make dyes worthless? Theyโre trying to make them obtainable because some of them are just not at all rn (or were) they are still expensive and rare to drop but feasible.
Killing glacite walkers with gauntlet was making me 22m/hr with the added glacite gem drops. It is less kills overall so your forge timer will decrease less but you make way more money/hr. And I didn't know pristine increases gemstone drops so I was using black cat, not sure if that would impact rates all that much.
For the amout you have to kill, does that take into account that while you are killing goblins the timer is still going down naturally. So my math put it closer to 28.5 of grinding straight which calculating everything together would be about 16.1m an hour with the goblin profit at 140m for 7 and 11.2m an hour gemstone. (Not sure how much you actually care i just wanted to clear that up becausr the math was a little wrong) Also if the math is off my bad i did it in my head
