I like your eyebrows.
Lures were a complete waste of time and knowledge points in DF so hopefully theyβve changed something to make it worthwhile in TWW. Fishing lures were utterly useless as well so again I hope theyβve given them a rework. Itβs quite frustrating to have 1/3 of your entire skill system dedicated to dead end specializations that offer no redeeming qualities or opportunities to make gold.
This is WAY too convoluted for me. Good thing I'm mostly playing classic and only joining retail for special events such as Plunderstorm or Pandaria Remix.
Looking forward to the Inscription guide!
I used to love dual gathering mining and herbing but with the profession revamp. And each mat having 3 ranks it got to be a lot of bag clutter. And not to mention the common ore being way too common ore imo
Another great informative video βοΈ
Soul, did I miss you talking about Phial of Truesight? Because that is going to be absolutely huge for herb/mining.
Luredrop & Orbinid are found in cave areas in Dorn
Over charging hmmmmm π
As a proffession main, what is your stance on sell vs. use mats during the launch of an expansion. When does it change?
6:22, it works with mining too?
Always appreciate your information. I just do mining and skinning with my characters, something simple to do while questing and leveling, but this was helpful if I want to branch out at all.
Just to check, you mention that you want to get to max level first to unlock adventure mode on all your toons. However if my goal is to simply take the first week on a miner/herbalist and go ham, trying to save up enough gold to get me through the expansion…do I need to do anything to get to the other zones, IE is there a questing and/or level lock to being able to enter zones?
Also, is there a PVP mode only gathering resource like the essence in dragonflight?
Loved the video! And while I'm learning more to herbalism I want to ask for others opinions as well.
I plan to make a group focused Chef. So I will be focusing on cooking and alchemy, to provide food and flasks for a group (mythics and raids)
For this I will obviously also go into fishing, but unsure of my second profession choice. Herbalism or skinner.
Herbalism is mainly for alchemy of course, whereas skinning is to focus on gathering meats, and selling whatever hides I collect at the same time.
It will be on my Mistweaver monk pandaren, so no benefits to either (just a food buff) any perspective or opinions are highly appreciated ^^
Do we have to already be max level gatherers prior to the expansion? Will we be at a disadvantage in any way if we start from scratch in the new expansion?
materials rank 1 was always more expensive for some reason, so i always searched for the prices for the item and put them less expensive than level 2/3 (obviously) and would sell fairly quick, never made sense to me how they were always more expensive.
Nothing will make gathering worthwhile. The unified regional ah combined with bot farms drags the price down to near vendor value. The supply vastly outstrips demand
So it looks like they finally fixed the issue with skinning skill points?
I could always max out the level of a skinner in DF and still have 0 points for skills from just gathering. π€
Lord knows you canβt make vids about class power since they change everything 24 hours later. Hope we get something more stable that doesnβt need reworked each quarter.
Great work! Very thorough and helpful! I'm loving "Soul the Profession-al" content! ππ₯°π
ill be a Herbalist and miner on my priest so i can funnel herbs into my main character who is an alchemist ^^ thx for another great content video, keep up the fantastic work π
Nicely done
Question about the darkmoon cards, I hear that inscription has a spec that makes them drop more frequently do you happen to know if that is humanoid only or any mob? If it is any mob then it might be a great pairing with skinning since you are going to be mass killing mobs to skin. In Dragonflight enchanting had one where mobs dropped disenchantables, but I hear those aren't in the WWi
Awesome information! The superb beast fang is also used for Blacksmith weapons, but it doesn't seem to be a reagent required when recrafting, so it's still unlikely to be as impactful as cobraskin was imo.
Youβve got me excited for gathering in War Within, after basically skipping it all of dragonflight
As someone who take double gathering at the beginning of the expansion, this was extremely helpful. Also, as someone who didn't want to give in to pre-ordering just for beta access, again, incredibly helpful.
Right on man, good video. All your videos took away my initial frustration at DF crafting. Blizzard themselves needs to actually explain their changes tho. I'm actually enjoying crafting now. ππΎβπΎ
"Maybe ppl will settle for a lower rank item" Is this your first day in wow ? π
Question. Does unlocking mining while mounted on a Druid eneble mining while in flight form?
high mountain druid, because you'll want to mine too. It's the only gatherer.
Is Inscription next?
Quick question will gathering be awailable to early acces? And if so do you think it will destroy the prices compared to dragonflight in the first 3 days? I made all the gold that i needed in the first 2 days of df with gathering afterwards i didnt need to interact with professions anymore except write to a crafter every now and then I bope this will be the same.
