I agree the McLaren P1 is many people's favorite supercar and this set is impressive! Still, two instructions isn't good, I really have my Sian instructions on my bookshelf. (I commented this a while back but accidentally on a different video) 😅

Does anyone own a 3D printer? Yes? You'd make a lot of money if you designed actual clear plastic headlights and/or taillights for these 1:8 scale car kits. Many of them could use the upgrade, instead of doing an outline of a headlight, which is a very custom shape I'm sure.
There are a few versions of this P1 car. Mould King makes one. Jie Star makes one, and I have it. GULY also makes one, I think. I think I've seen one of these in black. I have two of the Lego P1, and Zene Bricks has instructions to motorize it. VLites on Amazon might have the R/C upgrade as well.

really cool review, i do actually like that you go so in depth around the "other stuff" since that is most often ignored or maybe mentioned in one sentence by other reviewers.
Love the P1 but by now they should be using headlight and tailgate module that represent the real thing and not just a tube
The headlight is technically accurate but aesthetically its just isnt it, basically like you said our eyes love to ignore the black
