  1. I was an HBK fan ever since he turned on Marty, and so when I came across ECW on Sunshine Network, and I learned about the BWO and saw Stevie looked like a parady of him I was hooked and was a huge Stevie Richard's fan ever since. I'll never forget that Monday Night Raw episode where ECW originally invaded raw. "We're taking over!" Awesome times!

  2. I absolutely loved this episode!!! The game i grew up with was wcw/nwo revenge!! Goldbergs spear was unstoppable you could grab weapons out the crowd and use them was awesome!

  3. My personal favourites are Smackdown HCTP and Wrestlefest. I haven't played anything for years though and I never got into either No Mercy or Fire Pro, as good as their reps were.

  4. I love the footage of wrestlers recording their parts for the Wrestlemania arcade game. Apparently there's a whole story behind that in itself. Some wrestlers recorded footage but weren't used for various reasons and some wrestlers enjoyed the experience more than others. I think I heard that Michaels and Razor Ramon were hungover, uncooperative and unpleasant to the game developers, whereas Yokozuna and Taker had fun with it.

  5. I had a commodore 64, with a disc drive for the floppy's bug I was always under the impression that we could get the cassette player in the States, too.

Does anyone know of any competitive wrestling games? What I mean by that, is like Olympic wrestling, scholastic wrestling, beach wrestling, sumo, etc.

  6. Stevie, I will tell you I played the N64 games. And we would do 4 man matches with our friends. None wanted to be my partner because either I would beat everyone, or turn on my partner, so sitting together you never knew. Made it fun.

  7. Hey Stevie, big fan, haven't missed an episode.
How about doing an episode about how and why wrestling companies fail, talking about your time in Hardcore Rising?
    Cheers.

  8. Epic shout out by Stevie on Joe Montana SportsTalk Football! I used to play that every day on the Genesis with my grandpa as a kid. We always would run the fake punt pass and sometimes I still get "I DON'T BELIEVE IT" in my head when a team does something crazy in real life to this day. All time great game.

  9. 2k5!!!!!!! im already subbed but im going to make 1000 more accounts because the truth shall set you free, im looking at you Madden , not the great man who gave us the game , just the devs of the game. Give 2k a license.

  10. So im 35 and watched a clip of the 5 worst earlier, then i got the thumbnail for the full episode.
As someone who appreciates gaming i was impressed w Big Stevie Cools knowledge of not just wrestling video games but of the devs and publishers.
Game recognize game, im sure ill enjoy this .
Big up fellas, this show rules and its only gonna get bigger. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

  11. I recently started a game on TEW with a 1992 database booking ECW but with a twist, Cornette instead of Heyman, and Stevie was on the starting roster, he can reply to this post and tell me how he want me to book him 😁
And about TEW, I think would be cool to have a secondary channel where he plays the game

  12. Despite both Nitro and Thunder games being complete trash, the best thing about Thunder (aside from the menu taunts) was the ability to put each wrestler in a faction (WCW/nwo/Wolfpac/Flock/4 Horsemen) and have their attires automatically change to match.

  13. Back in 1997 I stumbled across a review on some webpage of Fire Pro Wrestling S: 6 Men Scramble for Sega Saturn (the SFC game released before it was Super Fire Pro X). The review was supposedly by Rob Fan Dam of all people. It peaked my interest so I ended up picking it up in 1998. Been a Fire Pro fan since then. Also played a lot of Tecmo World Wrestling, 3 Count Bout, Saturday Night Slam Masters, Wrestlefest, and Wrestlemania Arcade Game.

  14. All of the New Japan games were total trash for the Super Nintendo. Trash because of gameplay, the graphics were astounding, but very shitty controls. the All Japan games were great! they played exactly like the Fire Pro Wrestling series. All timing based. Great Episode Stevie and James, but I have a bone to pick with you saying the WCW NES game was bad. It was awesome for it's time! you were able to pick your moves which is the first of it's kind, and the Roster was awesome. first game to have Hot Stuff Eddie Gilbert

  15. WWE2K14 was the best game. Huge roster , a lot of arenas and metch types, 30 years of WrestleMania, Beat and Defend the Streak, The best creation suit ever with create a arena, title, finisher, story you could even make your titatron video. And you could upload and download everything.

  16. Shout out to James as a fellow Manc and Commodore 16+4 owner! I have fond memories of Treasure Island, Fire Ant and Icicle Works. When I got a C64 a few years later it was a revelation! Stevie deffo knows his gaming stuff, I'd love a gaming channel from him, unlikely as that will be to happen. Great show, love watching this and Dutch every week.
