My favorite half owl half human
It's not 2.5 Gbps but there's a reddit post about finding switches to fit in a 10in rack and someone mentioned the Ubiquiti EdgeSwitch 8 port PoE switch. It has the screw holes for being rack mountable and it has POE built in and 2 SFP ports. I wish they would make a version of this that was 2.5 Gbps and SFP+ as that would be a nice homelab switch.
I bet if you flip a shelf over and use the bottom as the top, the switch that would almost fit should go right in without the sides of the shelf in the way.
