The Moby Project is a ubiquitous open source project and has, like many projects before it, transitioned from new and exciting to background infrastructure. We revisit the history of the Moby Project (and Docker Inc. open source), look at how it has changed over the years, and discuss how it fits into the evolving cloud-native landscape. We will also cover current work and challenges in the product, recent developments and new features, new contributors, how you can contribute, and future plans for the project.
