The Cities Skylines 2 Hardware Benchmarking, Performance, and Settings Guide



In this video, we’ll go over the process that I used to benchmark a variety of hardware to gauge the performance of Cities Skylines 2 on systems of various power levels.

Please note that all runs in YELLOW were run on Friday October 20 on tthe 1.0.9 version of the game that includes the 1-5% performance uplift. The previous runs were on version 1.0.6, the version from the Stream and many creator videos.

If you’re curious about my benchmark, you can see that here – . FYI – this is not a test run, I reloaded in each time around to ensure that the light rain rain was present for each run.

Other notes, if you’re interested in the software I used, you can pick it up here and it works for anyone, regardless of if you have MSI hardware or not and it’s free – . The visual settings were a copy pasta job from @TechDweeb , who put together this awesome guide for tuning the on-screen settings – .
