I have a few concerns regarding scaling down or decommissioning. My understanding is that once the scaling plan needs to provision more AVD VMs, it will follow the naming convention of the Hostpool settings.
Is my understanding correct?
if yes, Will Dynamic Scaling reuses machine names that has been decommissioned?
How long does it take to provision the VM? If I understand this correctly it will go through the whole build process? So it can take hours?
Awesome
Thanks, Dean, for another wonderful and informative video.
Finally, auto scaling built-in feature .. no more third-party tool
Great. Thanks. Does this work for a VDI like setup where every user gets their very own VM / session host?
What about the Computer objects created in OU. If new machines are getting created/deleted everyday, do we have to manually remove those deleted computer objects from OU ?
This is awesome news.. Is there an MS learn page or blog post that backs up what you say in the video?
Is this still in preview?
Finally 😀 … Real Autoscaling comes to AVD.
Good to know information
