In this lab, we’re going to optimize our system performance by moving the paging file from the C: drive to the D: drive. To do this, we’ll need to disable the automatically managed paging file, delete the existing one on the C: drive, and create a new one on the D: drive with custom settings.
Objectives:
– Disable automatic management of the paging file
– Delete the existing paging file on the C: drive
– Create a new paging file on the D: drive with an initial size of 2048MB and maximum size of 3072MB
– Reboot to apply the changes
