Residents of Pilgrim’s Rest in Mpumalanga say they are fed up with the illegal mining activities that are crippling the historic town. The area has been a hotspot for illegal mining activities, which are also negatively impacting tourism. Many of the illegal miners are foreign nationals from Zimbabwe, Lesotho and Mozambique.
